Nestled in the serene surroundings of Greys Point, this extensive renovation transformed a traditional home into a light-filled, modern family sanctuary. Built by Taren Constructions, designed by Innovate, and featuring Capral Aluminium windows and doors fabricated by Khazma Aluminium, the Greys Point home is a refined renovation that fully integrates with its waterfront setting.

The first floor underwent a complete reconstruction, including a new roof structure, to create a spacious, open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area that took full advantage of the natural surroundings. Capral Aluminium’s high-performance framing, window, and door systems were carefully selected to provide smooth indoor-outdoor connections, enhance the flow of natural light, and deliver style and reliability for years to come.

The AGS Commercial 900 High Performance Sliding Door was installed at the back of the house, allowing large, uninterrupted openings that framed the water below. With bold panel sizes and smooth operation, it combined elegance with functionality. As Greys Point is a bushfire-prone area, the 900 door—Bushfire-Rated to BAL-40—ensured compliance with Australian Standard AS 3959, giving the homeowners peace of mind. Complementing this, the AGS Commercial 400 Narrowline Single Glazed system was installed on the back patio. Offering a balanced aesthetic, it provided a versatile and adaptable framing solution that enhanced the home’s modern design while maintaining clear sightlines.

Above the kitchen, the AGS Commercial 35 Awning Sash was installed to promote natural ventilation. With the option of square or bevelled sash profiles, its double-sealed construction provided reliable weatherproofing. Automatic hardware enabled effortless airflow from above, combining functionality with a sleek, modern design. At the front of the home, the AGS Commercial 225 Pivot Door created a striking entry. With the option to fit with either single or double-glazed units, it was both highly functional and visually appealing, providing a welcoming first impression.
